The Apple Vision Pro

Today I want to share with you my feelings about the Apple Vision Pro, the latest and greatest AR/VR headset from our favourite fruit company. You may have seen the specs, the reviews, and the demos, and let me tell you, it's a roller coaster of emotions.


First of all, I feel excited. I mean, who wouldn't be excited about a device that can transform any room into your own personal theatre, let you interact with your apps in 3D space, and capture your memories in stunning spatial photos and videos? The Vision Pro promises to deliver a whole new level of immersive experiences that we've never seen before. It's like having a magic portal to another dimension on your face.


Secondly, I feel curious. I want to know more about how this device works, what it can do, and what it can't do. How does it track my eyes, hands, and voice? How does it blend digital content with my physical space? How does it adjust to different lighting conditions and environments? How does it handle battery life and overheating? How does it deal with privacy and security issues? There are so many questions that I want to ask Siri when I get my hands on one.



Lastly, I feel hopeful. Hopeful that Apple will continue to innovate and improve this technology and make it more accessible and affordable for everyone. Hopeful that Vision Pro will be a game-changer for entertainment, education, productivity, communication, and creativity. Hopeful that Vision Pro will be more than just a gadget, but a gateway to a better world.

This text details the technical workings of a BMI prediction application built using Streamlit.  It uses a dataset of 526 individuals, and a Random Forest Regression model. The application leverages several machine learning techniques alongside the dlib library for facial landmark detection, aiming to deliver BMI estimates based solely on facial features. Data Preparation The core of this application is a dataset obtained from a publicly available source. This dataset contains facial measurements and corresponding BMI values, which serve as the foundation for training a predictive model. The dataset was preprocessed to exclude missing data, and relevant features were selected for the model.
