Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam
Participating in the tree plantation drive in Indore was a truly remarkable and eye opening experience. It showed how a single city can unite to achieve a tremendously gigantic goal. On July 14, 2024, I joined over 30,000 fellow citizens in an ambitious undertaking: to set a new Guinness World Record by planting over 1.1 million saplings in just one day. The event was held at the BSF Academy's Revati Range, where we planted a variety of trees, including Banyan, Neem, Peepal, Guava, and Amla. This initiative was part of the "Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam" campaign launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. It was a day filled with extreme heat, yet everyone was inspired to keep working and achieve the goal. We were filled with a sense of unity and purpose, knowing our efforts would contribute significantly to combating climate change and enhancing our environment.
